Cognito started as two electricians who kept being asked to “just run a network cable while you’re here”. Fifteen years on we are thirty-eight people — electricians, network engineers, AV technicians and a small consultancy team — and we still work the same way: survey properly, quote a fixed price, do it neatly and stay on the end of the phone.
We work mostly for offices, schools, surgeries and shops across Greater Manchester and the North West. Our shop sells the same hardware our engineers install, so what you buy from us is what we would fit ourselves.
What we promise
- A fixed price. If we got the quote wrong, that’s our problem, not yours.
- Tidy work. Labelled, documented and photographed, so the next person can follow it.
- Certificates on the day. Test results and certificates at handover, not weeks later.
- People you can reach. A named contact and a support line answered by an engineer.
